Every skin needs moisture and Cyclax have got you covered Night and Day.
I’ve recently been reviewing a number of Cyclax products who are a classic UK brand that has recently relaunched.
I feel really fortunate to have been involved with their re-launch and have tried a number of their fab products to look after my skin and hands.
My third Cyclax review is below – essential moisturisers.
Daily Moisturiser
I have previously written about another Cyclax moisturiser from the Moistura range. The Super Rich Super Moisturing Lotion which I really like and you can read why HERE.
This is another lovely piglet pink moisturiser for normal to dry skin and comes in a 50g pot (rrp £12).
It’s a light and non-greasy cream, with a fresh fragrance and it does a good job of adding moisture to the skin and helping to keep it feeling smooth and comfortable.
To me, it seems to be a very similar product to the Super Rich Moisturising Lotion (although the ingredients do differ), but this is a richer texture.
Of the two products I slightly prefer the lotion as even though it is called super rich the texture is lighter than this one. Both products sit well under makeup though, and remember neither have any sunscreen
Replenishing Night Cream
This night cream enriched with Vitamins A and E is again aimed at normal to dry skin – 5og pot (rrp £12).
Every skin needs moisture and Cyclax have got you covered Night and Day
Applying a moisturiser at night is essential in my book as we all lose moisture as we sleep. It also helps me to relax and I know that the better I sleep the better I should look in the morning.
You could, of course, apply your daily moisturiser at night, there is no rule to say you have to have a specific night cream. Day creams tend to be lighter and less rich/thick in texture, and I certainly prefer these as on my skin heavy creams during the day tend to make my foundation slide.
I like to reserve richer creams for the night and let them sink into my skin as I sink into sleep.
Apply this rich and creamy product to perfectly cleansed skin, a little goes a long way.
It contains Vitamin A & E and also peanut oil which is listed on the ingredients but I feel I should point it out just in case – I’ve not seen that crop up on ingredients before.
