9 grid box, vitl, sol de janerio, embla, skin doctors, Georganics

Let’s catch up

It has been a hectic couple of months and I’ve got lots to look forward to which is great as going into Winter can sometimes feel a bit bleak.

To counteract the shorter days I have been burning my Sol de Janerio candle.  This is a smaller size of the limited edition candle but at the time the only one I could find in the UK. (Space NK do now stock it).  It smells just as it should, if you like the fragrance of Bum Bum cream then this is for you.  Made from soy so it not only burns slower but is also cleaner.

Central heating plays havoc with my skin, but then so does the cold.  Luckily for me I have been able to indulge it with some lovely Dead Sea Mud courtesy of Embla.

7 weeks to go and I am finished with Invisalign.  I haven’t written about my Invisalign journey for a while as it is just going on and on.  But! on the 20 December 2019 I should be putting in my final tray.  That is nearly 3 years of treatment and I can’t wait, as recently I have started to feel my teeth wobble and whilst my dentist assured me it’s nothing to worry about (as they have to move for Invisalign to work) it still scares the s**t out of me!!

I know that teeth can suffer during the menopause, which I am most definitely in.  I would be devastated if I spend all this money for my teeth to start falling out – I am I hope over reacting but I just want it to be over.

In an effort to bolster my teeth I’ve started taking teeth specific supplments from Georganics and also signed up to a Vitl subscription who offer personalised vitamins.  These come in a daily blister pack which is of course more expensive than buying bottles but I am really forgetful about taking supplements so these work for me.  I’ll be sharing a review in a few weeks…

Also, looking ahead I’ll be working with Skin Doctors so expect to see lots of advice on getting your skin into the best shape ever, just in time for the holidays.  It’s all in the layers – cleanse, treat, moisturise, protect.

Until next time ?
